We have thousands of items to choose from. We continually receive new heavy metal music as it is released from around the world. Heavy Metal is our specialty - we do it best.

Our normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00am-5:00pm PST. We can be reached by email as well as by snail mail.  We will kindly answer any questions you may have, whether it is regarding product information, order status, new releases,... Customer satisfaction is very important to us.

Browse through our website / catalog at your convenience. There’s something for everyone, whether you prefer speed metal, death metal, thrash metal, power metal, black metal, epic metal, grind, grindcore, hardcore, punk, or traditional heavy metal. If you are looking for a title that is not listed, contact us for further information; we do special orders. We accept many various payment options: Money orders, personal checks (U.S. only), cash, and these credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. For creditcard purchases, we only charge you for the items that are being shipped when the order has been filled and is ready to ship. If there is an item on back-order, you will be charged for that item when it is filled. The metal you’ve been missing will soon be delivered to your door!

Most orders are shipped within 1-3 weeks from the day we receive your order. (Personal check orders take approximately 1-2 weeks to clear through our bank, thus these orders are slightly delayed). This period of time allows us to order product from various sources around the world. Due to the erratic nature of record labels / manufacturers, some titles can be out of stock (or out of press) for up to a month, sometimes longer. We will make every attempt to obtain your first choice. If you are mailing in your order, we recommend listing alternates; it could help speed up your order and keep credit balances to a minimum. Changing your order during processing could cause delays (this is not encouraged). Since we offer such a wide selection of titles, we cannot keep all items in stock. We do try and stock the best sellers and many new releases. Imports are not a problem; we receive many shipments a week, if not daily. Occasionally an item may have to be specially ordered. This can take from 2-8 weeks, depending on the label or country of origin. Therefore extra patience may be required when ordering certain titles. All vinyl titles are Special Orders, and are Non-Returnable/Non-Cancellable.

If any merchandise purchased from METAL DISC is defective or sent in error, please send it back within 30 days and we will gladly send you a replacement or refund. Defective merchandise can only be exchanged for the same item (unless the item is no longer available). If you are not able to send the item back right away, please notify us with 14 days upon receipt of goods. Magazines, Special Orders, vinyl and PAL Format DVDs are Non-Returnable. When an order leaves here, it leaves in good condition. However, we have no control of how the package is handled by UPS or the U.S. Postal Service. We will gladly replace broken CD jewelcases with your next order. Just let us know!

If your shipment arrives damaged, please save the entire contents of the package and contact us.  We will give you instructions on what to do in this situation.  Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return on an item because you did not like what you ordered. Sorry!

We do our best to keep our prices competitive, and in many cases you will find they are better than your local store (that is, if you have one). We’ve lowered the prices again on hundreds of titles. Our friends outside California will save by not having to pay state sales tax. Unfortunately, we cannot avoid the tax for California resident headbangers. The California sales tax is currently 9.25% (multiply the subtotal of your order by .0925). We do not have any additional fees for credit card or personal check orders.

If you are ordering online, the process is simple. Just add the items to your shopping cart, and when ready, checkout. The site will guide you through. If you are mailing your order in, just fill out the order form (or any sheet of paper will do). Make sure you write legibly, and indicate what items you want (the format, t-shirt size, etc.). If your address or information is incomplete, your order could be delayed (especially if we can’t make out your address).  Remember to include the shipping/handling charge (and sales tax for Californians). The shipping rates are listed below. Remember to enclose payment (payable to METAL DISC). Creditcard orders can be placed by phone, fax, website, or mail. Creditcard orders must include the following information: Creditcard Number, Expiration Date, Name on card, Name of Purchaser, Telephone number, Signature of authorized user of card. Each creditcard is verified by the issuing bank before we ship any product. Foreign customers will need to supply further banking information. If you are sending cash, you are doing so at your own risk (we recommend that you register/certify/insure your letter.). Stuff everything into an envelope addressed to METAL DISC (PO Box 4649, Thousand Oaks, CA. 91359). Drop it in the mailbox – it’s that easy. If you have a preference on how your order is to be shipped, please let us know (either UPS or Post Office for U.S. residents). Due to the ever increasing UPS rates, more orders are being shipped by the U.S. Postal Service (Priority / U.S. First Class Mail / Media Mail, especially for rural customers). We will try to accommodate all of our customers across the U.S. and abroad. We do not ship UPS outside mainland United States. No C.O.D.s.

NOTE: For check, cash & money orders: When you receive your order, please check your invoice. Many of our customers have credit balances (money we owe you). Credits are listed on the invoice. Deduct this amount from your next order. If you would prefer a refund, please contact us.
